Well since I have scraped my Lund and have all the parts sitting around I came across this posting. Only 15 miles from me........oh so tempting to go look at it, and would have a fall project. I mean really I have a empty trailer, I have a complete good motor and drive for it....oh the labor that maybe involved....

Give me some reminding wisdom not to even go look at it.....HELP!!!!

Well, with the drive and motor out, it should be easy to determine the condition of the transom and stringers. If its cheap, go for it!

Sorry, I can't talk you out of it either... I'm no where near done with restoring my boat and I'm already planning my next restore. I miss my old fish n ski... Mainly for the fishing part, so I'm contemplating a real hunk of junk that comes cheap with a 70 to 100 hp outboard that I can turn into a fishing platform, or maybe I can just find an old bassboat in need of a full on resto!!! Dang it... This boat fixin thing might be a disease...

Oh yeah, Icyharp, are you still hanging around, you should have that boat loaded by now...

Dude you know we're all junkies for fixer-uppers This just might be the wrong place to be talked out of anything. I think the $100 bill approach closes the deal too and for that price who could argue. Go get it...

Ya I figured as well that no one was going to really try to talk me out of this. I plan on calling today, and see if I can swing by and take a look. Sunday is about the only day I can grab it anyway...we shall see.

Went to go look at it and although may have been a good project just way too much work to retro my 188 into it. So I passed, so I guess I got myself out of this one. But I am still on the hunt.....lol.
