I was on the way , to the lake. The other day.<br /><br /> I stopped at the tackle shop.<br /> <br /> Alot of area residents, loiter around . Drinking coffee , and talking.<br /><br /> One of the older guys. Was talking about going to get his boat fired up . <br /><br /> After it had set out in back of his shed for 3 years.<br /><br /> I recommended , the usual things . I would do , before I FIRED IT UP !<br /><br /> Carbs, waterpump etc. etc.<br /><br /> His reply was spray the carbs out. Not really do a carb rebuild. Just spray carb cleaner in throat.<br /><br /> I didn't want to say anything. And get in a big debate . LOL.<br /><br /> Which is what he lives for.<br /><br /> But, when he said . <br /><br /> I know an old trick , You don't have to rebuild the water pump .<br /><br /> You just do some kind of impellar lube with dish soap ? ? <br /><br /> Have you heard of this ? <br /> <br /> I have, lubricated impellar fins, to ease installation.<br /><br /> But not, after installed.<br /> <br /> <br /> I'm not interested in trying it.<br /> <br /> I'll just keep changing mine.<br /><br /> I was just curious, if he's the originator or not. Works Great! Restores water pumps to new condition. I find that Dawn diswashing detergent does the best job, but Generic works too. Now, where's that magnet to set aside the fuel line to align the molecules in the gas and act like a supercharger?

i use super lax as gas aditive to prevent carbon buildup.<br />if it works for me it must work for my evi.<br /><br />

I got some little green pills you can put in your gas tank and you'll double your gas mileage....no...really...I read it on the internet so it's gotta be true....right?<br />If that doesn't work for ya...just throw in a few mothballs.
