I live ~25 miles west on the coast and we're getting ash haven't got a night time fire line pic gotta get on the freeway for that might try tonite. Looks like a cloud but it billows up from the two big fires.
that sucks, i remember living there when the santa ana's blow the fires real bad. Im supposed to go to OC this weekend, hope its cleared up a lil by then.
I've heard there's so much heat go straight up that it makes its own cloud thats why it looks like a cumulus because essentially it is. It shouldn't be bad in the oc. It's all part of socal living. Rain in September yeah right.
