What are you runnign it in? Besides being stronger than aluminum the stainless isn't going to do much for a 25HP motor. I'd save your money.

We have a Solas Aluminum prop on our 27' poontoon with a 48HP Johnson. Works fine for the $85 I spent on it.

As much as i hate to say this the Solas....cheaper and a great prop. Now if you had a high HP boat and looking for total performance....Stilletto...Now theres a opinion

Explain what you mean by chewing up an aluminum prop in one duck season. Was it from the salt water or hitting hidden objects?

If hitting hidden objects, then stay with the aluminum; you may be replacing more than a prop next year if you go with SS.

Good luck!

I have been running a SS Solas for years now and have great success with it. I run in salt water bays as well and it has been a tuff prop.
