do i use the stock hub on there?? the hub is much bigger than the stock volvo penta prop, my current prop is 14x17lh, and i go about 29 mph at 5100 rpm, and thats pinned... i wanted to get up to 35 at around 46-4800,

Bruce, you should have a cone as the nut for the prop. Being a 131, you should also have a bolt that goes thru the hub into the outdrive shaft. If the hub extends past the splined area of the shaft and over the threads, then there is something wrong. Do you have a spacer and linecutter allready on the shaft?

A picture would help.

yes have everything for my prop, but the new prop dosent match the stock volvo size hub... so that nut isnt flush or even close..
