So I took a week off of work rented a beach house on LI sound with my fianc? and friends, went out fishing, caught a few fluke and a few sea robins....and I realized my Bayliner Capri 1950 just wasn't cutting it for fishing....fish bait getting on the carpet and blood getting on the carpet and seats etc......boat ran PERFECT...couldn't ask for a more reliable boat.....but I wanted more of a fishing boat-all ill really do on the boat anyways...so I posted it up and it actually sold FAST.

I ended up buying a Bayliner Trophy with a 150 Mercury outboard with no carpet and fiberglass floors so I can was it out no problem and have more space for standing in the back fishing....cant wait to take it out on the water!

The happiest days in a boat owners life is when he buys and sells his boat. You had 2 of those days in rapid succession. Congratulation on the rapid sale and also the new Trophy. There is one in my marina and I often admire it. Good luck with her

I have fished Lake Erie several times in your exact boat. She will handle very well and it is a great fishing boat. A quick wash with the hose at the end of the day and you are good to go. Ever notice when your crew is back on dry land enjoying a cold 1 you still have 40 minutes of work on the boat to get ready for them the next trip out? I'm not complaining,,,,,,, yes I am.

You will enjoy that boat, congrats on the quick turn around. I do not look forward to the day I have to sell my boat, no way. Maybe they can have a Viking Funeral pyre on it with me in it and them having another cold 1?
