Hey, no worries. We know that boats COST money, I was feeling thrilled how this worked out....rare to have fun AND make a buck.

good deal.
i bought a 12 foot welded for 400. sold the 6hp for 350. the boat and trailer for 500. net profit of 850.00. i put no money into it, just clean the boat, trailer, and motor.
then bought a 14 foot riveted boat and trailer. painted the boat. picked up a 1996 merc 15hp for 100 bucks (it was frozen). put in some marvel oil and the next day it turned over. changed all the gaskets and rebuilt the carb. i spent 150 bucks on the motor, and about 100 bucks in paint. i sold the boat, motor, trailer for 1400.00
now in the beginning of summer i bought a 86 bayliner for 1000. i think i paid too much. oh well.
i did make some $$ on the other boats!
