Just a little dissapointed ???<br /><br />I was looking at a Johnnyrude for a kicker... had a blown lower. The guy took it apart and lost the drive shaft in the interim... so you had a 70-ish 25 hp upper, a lower in parts that need a total overhaul, and in need of a driveshaft. Some smuck bid it up to $230! Buyers on EBay can be so foolish at times.

Well done, I've been doing the same thing with old gun parts. Folks are standing in line to get this stuff. I'm happy. ;)

I do that with digital cameras. I buy a new/upgraded one every 18 months. I sell the old one on ebay. I sell them for about $50 less than I paid for them.

What surprised me is that it went for $100 more than they usually go for. You can still find a new one for about $600, but they will be gone within a few weeks.<br /><br />The new updated version, has a different chip (Intel), is much much faster, has more ports, better software, comes with a multimedia remote, AND will run both Apple OS X and Microsoft XP. Price - about $740.<br /><br />The new MacBook laptop is the same, but is selling for the same price ($1100) as the older-slower-heavier model. It has the remote, AND they are giving away a FREE ipod with it.

Not really. ;) A few weeks ago I sold a slightly used ipod for $217 + shipping. Apple.com as well as thousands of other retailers sell them brand new for $199 with free shipping. :D <br /><br />If you search for "gas card" you'll find a bunch of ~$100 prepaid cards to various gas staions. They often sell for $110 + shipping. :rolleyes:
