New boat owner here. I have 1963 johnson with a solenoid connection. Push button electric start mounted by steering console. I have no idea how to hook all this together. This is what I have for wiring.<br /><br />Motor<br /><br />Neg. cable with battery connector<br />Positive cable with solenoid connector<br />Positive cable with solenoid connector on one end and battery connector on other.<br /><br />2 wires coming from motor that somehow connect to push start.<br /><br />Have electric start on motor too...not working.<br /><br />Can get direct power to start motor but not with push switch.<br /><br />If somebody could walk me throught his I would appreciate it.
