Solenoid question trim...OMC Stringer

For some reason my trim will go down (motor up) but I am having a intermidant problem with the trim going up (motor down). Could my trim switch in my shifter be going bad? Is there an up solenoid and a down solenoid? I rebuilt the rams and reinstalled them. Trim motor working fine. If I turn the ignition off for a while then it will work but then it stops again. Will raise the motor but having the problem with it kicking in to go down. Any thoughts?

Pretty sure you have an UP and DOWN solenoid, why not swap them?
