Solenoid

I have a 1996 Force 75 hp purchased a new solenoid an Arco SW295 for it but it has no instructions as to which way to put it on only 2 ways right and wrong:facepalm: little help please.

There is no right and wrong. The solenoid is just a heavy duty switch or relay. Either side can be in (battery) and either side can be out (starter). Same goes for the small terminals. They simply energise a "sucking coil" so either side can be pos from the ignition switch/neutral lock-out and either side can be ground.
