I just purchased a boat and the flooring on each side of the ski storage area is sagging a bit. It starts to turn downward about 3 inches from the edge if of the opening. The opening is maybe 1/2" below the rest of the floor. The stringers are probably a foot out from the edge of the opening so there isn't a whole lot of support surrounding it. The boat is a 1996. Any recommendation for securing the flooring around the ski storage area? Bad idea to run a couple of 2x4's along the underside of the floor, parallel to the opening, and secure them with screws through the flooring? Everything else seems very solid otherwise. Thanks! Jon
