Dad is pulling up old pics. I've posted most of these before but, well, photobucket...

so...

The Loon. 21' mariner with twin 60's. Purportedly nothing on the willamette could keep up. The car is a 71 monte carlo, not sure what year pic taken. In front of our house on NE19th ave, Portland OR

and just for fun, me circa 1969 as we were driving from Omaha to Portland after dad came home from Vietnam. I think the car was a Valiant.

hat rock, OR. After the conversion of the Loon. 115 'Rude replaced the twin 60's. I think this was 74 because I know we had (and was my fist car) a 75 Caprice.

The story is that the conversion was born form a fairly large repair to the hull after an incident on Roundbutte reservoir one early spring involving a large, unseen, ice sheet. And probably a bunch of beers.

He found another one. I remember that tent. On multi family trips we always had the biggest tent. He thinks Top Hat reservoir

I think the boat was a jupiter and it has one of the twin 60's from above. The other came from uncle jacks boat when he upsized.

That's mom waving.
