Re: Some Fridays I should just call-in sick.
Lot's o' fun eh 12Footer? At least the rig looks OK. A li'l diesel to clean up, n' maybe an oil change n' all, (assumin' he had the brains to shut 'er off, unless there is a kill switch in the crank case). If the guy is back in the saddle Monday maybe he has a li'l more respect for the center o' gravity. I hate to admit it but I was usin' a John Deere 4X4 loader to load round rock fer the septic systems out on ol' Rubby Ridge Island. The darn thing had sooo much power, (I was loadin' on a side hill, [no other option]), n' had ta get the bucket as full as possible before rollin down the hill ta load the barge ta float across the ol' pond. The JD bucket was very poorly designed (compared to my "Terra Mite" mini back hoe out on RR Island), so ta get her full I had to push the loader into the pile o' rocks, n' clean her, (push the rocks to the back o' the bucket) by liftin' her high in the air, n' load her again to get a full bucket. One time the tires dug in, (lower on the down hill side o' the tractor for some reason), n' when I cleaned her, over she went. It was slow motion so I wasn't even real scared, but had ta clean up the mess, n' fill up the oil n' finish the job much more aware o' the holes the tracter tires were diggin. I think that was one of the hardest jobs I ever did, (barging 80 yards o' rock [1 1/2 yards at a time] to ol' Ribby Ridge Island), n' installing two gravity sepitc systems. Respectfully JR
