Figured I'd get some pics on here. Will need to get better ones as the weather improves. The vinyl is decent except for one tear along a seem in one of the lounge seats and some flaking where the PO used vinyl paint to freshen them up. Trying to decide how to improve that condition. (New vinyl paint or just get seat covers?) The engine and outdrive need to be cleaned and repainted. Otherwise everything appears to work. Won't know 100% until I can get in the water. Not much water open here now @ 12 degrees today.

Brrrrrr...that's cold. Being on the West Coast, I can't even imagine anything below 35 degrees.

Instead of repainting, you may want to check re-upholster places in your area. By taking off the cushions and bringing to them will be fairly inexpensive.

Yeah Hondo65, I'm right there with you. It was 1 degree this morning at 6:00am at my house. Now it's warmed up to a balmy 10 degrees.

Hey rndn, which of the Finger Lakes are you nearest? DO you boat there most or trailer around to different spots?

I'm 3 miles from Honeoye Lake and about 10 miles from the launch at Conesus. I usually prefer to boat in the summer in Canandaigua Lake but prefer to fish in Conesus and Honeoye. I also have taken the rig to Ontario as I used to live near the Sandy Creek boat launch so I am familiar with the area. If you have never fished the finger lakes you should really try it. Honeoye has many more bass but Conesus has much bigger fish. I've caught a 5 lb 6 oz largemouth, 42 inch northern pike, and a 28 inch Walleye out of Conesus. The largest fish I've caught from Honeoye is a 20 inch walleye. When I do fish I try to fish during the week or early mornings late evenings as the finger lake are not fishable during a weekend day as there are way to many boats.

Hey, I'm a finger lakes guy also. I think I'm going to keep my boat at Trident Marina on honeoye this year like I did last year. We also rent a place on Conesus for a week most years so I boat there as well. I may get it out and trailer to other places a few times also tis year.

If you like bass fishing you should really try Lake Erie once. The smallmouth fishing is unmatched anywhere else in the country. 5-6 pound smallmouth all day if you find them.

That's cool guys. I live about 30 miles from "The" Lake (ontario) One buddy has a place on Conesus right near the Beachcomber and the other lives just South of Conesus. My parents live overlooking Canandaigua. I will do most of my fishing in Conesus and playing in Ontario or Canandaigua.
