I have a 1994 Pro Craft with a 135 Mercury oil injection. Some thief stole my oil reserve tank and cut the lines to do it. They even cut the line to my graph transducer. I have looked on the WEB and I can't find any place that I can replace it from. Can anyone recommend a company I can purchase one. I have looked in Iboats parts and can't find anything there.

Thanks

First off, thieves are scum of the earth!Wait for a good response as to where to possibly find one as I have no earthly idea, except to call mercury. That said,I unhooked the oil injection off my 1988 black max 150 xr4.I have that tank from my boat in my basement. Not sure it would work for you and not sure how to get it to you,but if you find price for a new one,PM me and we`ll work out a very fair price for mine if it will work.I will only ask you to pay a fair, agreed upon, low price and shipping to you.Good luck to you and hope whoever did it rots in H-E- double hockey sticks!

You can order it from boats.net but you will need to order caps and withdrawal assy seperate. On the boats.net site just enter the part number thats after the dash(example 123-4567 enter 4567 in box)
Tank part # 1257-87421...............$38.52
Cap assy # 36-43298A2................$14.06
Withdrawal housing #816190A4......$90.38

Starcraft's will work. They are all the same.

Lots of folks pull em out for paranoia reasons and probably have them laying around. I wouldn't buy new, it's only a tank, a couple of caps, and a pair of hoses.

hope it helps

No problem.Youre more than welcome to it if itll work for you and you decide to go that route.I also suggest a couple things.Call your local marina and see what they can get one for.2)if new isnt mandatory for you,ask marina for couple boat salvage yards in your vicinity and call them.3)just call mercury and see their option.4)unhook that sucker and run premix.I dont regret it one bit.Nothing to fail, nothing to get stolen!,newer oils mix pretty much instantly w/gas so no worries on how to fill, etc.Again, good luck and hit me up if I can help you out.

They may have done you a favour. Sooner or later that unit WILL fail. It is just a matter of time. When it does, it will take your powerhead with it.

The first thing I did with my merc with ditch the autoluber. No big deal to add a pint of oil to a 6 gallon tank.

I dont know if you where done a favor, but premix is the only way some guys go, like someone said paranoia, or in my friends case experience with a blown powerhead on his Merc 200, he has every right to be paranoid.
