Here I am, getting ready to do the carving, and I look out the kitchen window and see 6 wild turkeys eating under the backyard bird feeder.<br />Then I look back at my bird. <br /><br />Its a chicken. <br /><br />Whats wrong with this picture???<br /><br />Now I just stand here looking at the wild birds.<br />?????? Ok, time to eat.<br /><br />We both got turkeys from work this year, but donated them to the food pantry. <br /><br />Gobble Gobble

Hahaha!<br /><br />Ain't that odd?<br /><br />Actually I got all kinds of turkeys and pheasants wandering around here.<br /><br />Some neighbors use to rasie them and set them loose. <br /><br />Now if I could keep them out of my garden....<br /><br />H.

I have wild turkeys runing around my back yard all the time, what ever you do DO NOT catch them, about 6 weeks ago I was working on someones lawn, tryed to get one and got the crap pecked out of my arm, was not one of the smartest things I have ever done <br /><br />11

We have more than turkeys.<br />Whitetail deer,<br />black bear, <br />coyote,<br />wolves,<br />snowshoe wabets,<br />bobcat,<br />lynz,<br />and lots of GATEWAY Deer ,<br />all within 2 miles of home-except the lynx are 40 miles away.

sounds like our place,Last night I went out to get the cat in for the night and there was a skunk playing with him,then a Rabbit runs across the lawn and the cat takes after that,I thought I'd never get him in!

Ah man... All I ever get ta see is the occasional opossum rootin' around the garbage can or eating the neighbors dog's food....

Yea, very near, not quite, summers are way too short, and I have to drive 60 miles to buy a bag for my Sears vacume cleaner. <br />Can't have everything.
