Sometimes waterflow then other times not

I replaced the water impeller last year and the old one was fine so I suspect this one is good to. When I started her up for the first time on muffs she worked great and I took the thermo apart to clean out and now at idle there are a couple drops out the pee hole. When I get on the gas water does come out. The engine does not seem to get to temps high enough. Where could the water be going? Sometimes its good then other times not.

Ive gota 25hp Evinrude, that did the same thing, so i turned up the idle, it pumps good and still trolls ok. At higher idol the water comes out good and cold, engine is cool and it is easier to start as well. It might be that i am a little bit too cheap to buy a new damn impellar though.<br /><br />Mike

Have you checked the hose to your pee hole? It might be clogged with something, or you might have some goop in the impellor housing.
