Re: Soon to be boatless.

Whew, I feel better now.
Just bought another boat. !! :)

Couldn't take the chance that I would actually sell my 2 boats this week, and have the third one blow away in a tornado, and have dad's 3 boats stolen, so I bought the one I've been looking at.

Alumacraft lunker 16 console, 400#, Rude 35hp, crappy trailer.
Runs great, just under 30mph, boat needs a little work to make it "just right" for fishing. Not quite enough room for a kicker, so an electric troller will have to do. It sits high in the water and planes in 2 seconds, but I miss the power I always felt when I hit the throttle on the Force.

Oh yeah, the 70 Force is quieter than the 35 Rude.

It's actually rated for 65 hp ? !! ? That would be quite a ride.
Motor runs great, but will get the usual going through and maintenance.

Photos to follow, someday.

Re: Soon to be boatless.

High bidder is Steve from New Berlin WI, about 10 miles from where I used to live.

Now that its over: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...m=220010410330&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT&ih=012

A soon as I get paid, I can start with selling off all the spare Force parts I have accumulated, just in case I ever needed them.

2 lower units, 6 coils, carb, 2 chokes, 2 stators, trigger, 2 switch boxes, 3 props, a regulator/rectifier, 2 tilt and trim units, cowl, and who knows how much else is on that shelf in the garage. I actually got it all pretty cheap when I picked up 2 blown motors a few years ago.

I guess I will be busy.
