Sorry for the headache's all, no I'm not bashin no one. I got cought up with mercury taking Yamaha to court for price hiking the USA. and in fact there not. Thanks

I believe that "Snookin" is partly on the right track ,and I believe (not sure) that Mercury pushed the button on yamaha,so the usa put a import tax on yamaha engines so then mercury could raise their prices on their engines.

But they neglected to figure that those import duties would be there for EVERYBODY. Mercahas included. DOH!
