SOS its a mercruiser 5.8 with 460 heads, holley not open wot ( pics available)

I don't know much but I know a holley carb when I see one and mercruiser outdrive assembly. I think motor is a 5.8 But when looking at the valve covers the heads are 460 please help I submited pics _SOS) Can the holley be adjust so that secondaries open all the way is thermostat is merc eveything on this is merc help unless I am wrong about the head they seem to be 460

Ayuh,... It appears the Only thing Merc is the outdrive,....

Yer 2nd picture shows everything there is Non- Merc....
'n as you've been told,... Merc has Never, Ever used a Holley carb...

Might be a OMC, or Volvo... I see blue paint specks...

you see the chrome no blue on motor i install ed the pump n heat exchanger ok it may not be a 460 can the carb be adjusted is what i want to know the exhaust, thermostat, water seperator,hose routing is merc

This thread is closed. Your other thread on this is in the Other Brands of I/O & Inboard Engines & Outdrives. You have an engine problem and it's NOT a Mercruiser. Mercruiser has never used the 5.8 or 460 with an Alpha drive, nor have they ever used a Holly carb.
Your engine could be a one of a number of manufacturers but not Mercruiser or Volvo. May even be a home made setup, who knows. But it is not a Mercruiser.
