I have a trailer I am redoing and looking to replace the ubolts and tie plates on the springs. I have a 1.25" sq axle and I have been up and down the internet looking for replacements. The smallest I can find is 1.5" for square end. Anyone have a source they know of that would stock this size in galvanized or stainless?

Do you have any trailer manufacturers or steel supply shops in your area?

bigger offroad shops can sometimes make them or have them made.... also check driveline shops.... ie places that would make a driveshaft

any drive line shop should be able to make them. just look in your phone book under welding or truck repair. We have several fabracation shops around here when I needed no standard U bolts I just went in with a scriblled drawing of what I wanted. told them what it was for and 1/2 hour latter I walked out with my ubolts.

Assuming they are still around:

Healy Spring Company
990 Central Ave NE
Minneapolis, MN 55413
612-379-2080

Cost me about $4.50 a piece for custom ubolts last time I was there. Made while you wait

Edit - looks like they moved the whole works to Roseville in 2005. Same phone number will work
