Looking to see if anyone is from s.w. Michigan. Looking for some boating friend in our area. What lakes do you most frequent? If Im posting this in the wrong section, i apologize!!
Currently I boat all around the area. We tend to enjoy mostly just cruising as a family.
We boat out of Saugatuck, Holland or Grand Haven if we are in the mood for the big lake. Otherwise we are on Gun Lake or trailer up north to some other lakes. If I ever get my boat put back together I will be checking out a lot of the smaller lakes in my area. I'm also looking for a smaller outboard boat to explore some of the rivers in the area.

Grand River... UPSTREAM of Grand Rapids. Actually, I launch at Riverside Park at the north launch (Near the Veteran's home). Otherwise, Wabasis Lake. In both cases, I mostly fish. In the river, I only fish, and I do not eat anything (except Lake Michigan run Salmon and Steelhead).
Marshall Michigan here, Duck Lake, Brace Lake and a few others. I work Portage at Pfizer, been wanting to drag my boat over there and hit some of those lakes.
Heading to Houghton Lake tomorrow morning for a long weekend.
South Central.....Jackson actually. We'll be on Duck Lake Sunday, usually michigan center lake, skiff lake, lime lake, portage lake. good pike, bass, gill and perch.
Born and raised in Jackson, now live in Grass Lake. My boat stays at a family cottage on Little Wolf lake and I spend most of my time between little wolf and big wolf. I just can't seem to find the time to take the boat anywhere else this summer. Had a bad experience on Lake Huron last summer though.
