Wondering what I should set my spark plug gap at. I have a 1998 Johnson 150 hp FICHT engine. I have the pinned heads and are using XC12PEPB spark plugs. I read on the forum that they should be set at .030 but someone said .028 would be a better setting. What do you guys with the knowledge of this engine recommend. Answers greatly appreciated.

Re: Spark Plug Gap

I do not know but you can try it both ways..I doubt it will make any noticeable difference..
