spark plug gap

I have a manual, but cant find the gap recommedation for a 1997 Volvo Penta 5.7 GS. Anyone know what it is??

Can you get your full model number? Need the letters after the 5.7GS. Volvo didn't make a GS in 97.

Thats what it is. Its a 1997 206 LXi with a VolVo Penta 5.7 GS. It says 5.7 GS on top of the spark arrestor.

Did they put that engine in a 98 or 99? The guy I bought it from said his daughter backed it into a sandbar, sucked up alot of sand, seized the engine, and they put a new engine in it when it was about a year od!

I have no Idea where those tags are at! Where is the one on top, and I did find a tag on top the square box where the is a big wire harness that plugs into it and has 2 red 50 buttons on it, and that tag says 5.7 and the gap is .035

Sorry about being so ignorant Bob, but Ive never been any better than an oil change, wiper blade change, and air filter change, but Im trying. BTW Thx for your help!
