Spark Plug Gap...

'73 OMC 165 GM L6 250 cid with electronic ignition:<br /><br />I've got 6 ACDelco MR43T's...<br /><br />Is the gap set from manufacturing or do I need to check or re-set the gap on the plugs?

I always check the gap, several times the gap is wrong, could have been from shipping or gapped for a differant application
