i will be putting new plugs in my motor tommorow and am not sure what the gap is as i don't have a manual. it is a 1984 70 johnson seahorse. the tag on the plug wires says to use champion L77J4 or ac M400FX. which is better ?

Re: spark plug gap

L77JC4 OR THE QL77JC4
Those johnson's and rudes like those champion plugs.
If you troll alot try gaping them at 40.
I have a 85h/p and I gap at 40 and have better slow speed running and less fouling.
