spark plug leads mixed up

help !<br />i have a 60hp Mercury 60hP red/silver band 3 cylinder. i have been "messing about" with spark plus/coils/ht leads and i can't remember what order they go in<br />looking from top to bottom can anyone advise what order<br />i:e coil 1 goes to clyinder 1<br /><br />many thanks

On my '88 60hp 3cyl the coils are upside down in comparison with the cylinders...<br /><br />Coils top to bottom: 3, 2, 1

What year/serial number is your motor?

not sure, i am at work<br />i beleive the engine is about 1999
