You need to have the engine checked for any codes that may be present in the computer system.
There is a check valve right under the throttlebody on the right hand side that has a rubber hose on it. This hose routes to the VST (vapor seperator tank) on the back of the engine. Unplug the hose from the check valve and with another length of hose attached to the check valve see if you can suck air thru it. If you can the check valve is bad and drawing fuel into the intake causing a flooding problem.
