Spark plug UL77V on 87' Force 85hp OB

Can spark plug Champion UL77V be used on 87' Force 85hp outboard? The manual says Champion QL76V. However, the previous owner has been using UL77V and everything seems to be fine. Comparing between UL77V and QL76V, the difference is former is resistor spark plugs and latter is non-resistor.

I know you can look up alternatives. if you google what you should have, it will give you a list of acceptable replacements. Worked for me when they discontinued my plugs

I always found they recommend UL18V for the 85/125 is most cases.
