Spark Plug wires and Threads

Do the spark plug wires thread into the distributor? I was looking at a coil and yoke assembly on-line and it looked like it threaded in underneath the distributor/flywheel. I have never seen that before and I feel like that is a pretty stupid question to be asking?

Yes, all the wires thread into the dist cap as they have a special terminal on them. DON'T start pulling on the wires.

Thanks for that info, I have a book on my motor and don't remember reading that anywhere....
