One of my plug wires has a bad end , where it plugs into the coil. My engine is a 3 cylinder.Should I replace all 3 plug wires or can I just replace the bad one? Also , are most marine plug wires universal or do they need to match the horsepower rating?

Your problem would be easier solved if you list the Make, Model and serial # of your Outboard motor. :)

I just bought a set of universal "cut your own" plug wires from the auto parts store. They are 8mm high energy cables. Much cheaper than buying wires from the dealer, plus they look cool. This was suggested to me by MYOUTBOARDS, and I'm glad I did it.
