My spark plug connector is corroding badly. I am looking for advice, I'm not a mechanic, just a DIY'er

1. From the looks of things, without disassembling anything, these wires connect directly to the "power pack" -? on the motor. Can I somehow buy a new connector that attaches to the spark plug, and splice it on in some way?

2. If I could do this, is the wire likely corroded also at this point?

3. What is the proper fix for this?

Thanks all.20231022_220631.jpg

Pull off the rubber boot and check the spring.
Maybe you can clean it up and reuse the spring.
Otherwise there are a terminal boot kit, part number 63709A1.

The boots changeable.
A touch of Dialectric grease on the end of the plug might help with the rust.
But too much will cause the boot to fall off.
Some cases the wire needs to be helped, use shrink tube and Liquid Electric tape to cover the wire.
