Spark Plugs for 1985 XP 150

Good Day Everyone:

What Part# spark plugs are recommended for my 1985 XP 150? I have used Champion & NGK in the past, both surface gap & regular.

What do the experts think?

Champions are what that motor was designed to use. I would shy away from the NGKs. Did you use the UL77V's or L16V's surface gaps?

UL77Vs. No real problem Just wondered if somebody had something better...

A lot depends on what fuel you're using and what your top rpm is with an average load (set up). We'll assume that the motor is running correctly and according to factory stock spec. Right?
