This may be a really stupid question but I just want too be sure. I put new plugs in my 76 johnson 70hp. I only took the boat out one time for about an hour. Just out of curiosity I pulled the plus to see if they looked even in combustion appearance. They were all very clean and shiny. Should they be this clean or even after an hour should they look blackish from the two cycle? Maybe a dumb question. When I premixed the gas I poured the two cycle in before filling the tank from the pump. I assume I shouldn't have to slosh it around to get it mixed. Anyway, just curious.

How ever you get the gas and oil mixed is fine. Small tank just shake it. large tank rock the boat. Pour oil in as the gas runs in. Any way that does it.
