Re: spark plugs

Wet with water, gas, or what?
Please be more descriptive. Nobody can help you if you don't fully describe your problem.

Re: spark plugs

How are you finding out that the plugs are wet when the engine is running?

Yeah, a stupid question, but that is what you said happens.

If the plugs are wet when you shut her off, that is normal. The engine continues to pump fuel into the cylinders after you shut off the ignition and until she stops. That leaves wet plugs.

Re: spark plugs

we can only get the engine to start up once and that is when the spark plugs are dry and once it starts up it runs for a little and shouts off and we cant start it back up and we saw that the spark plugs are wet with oil.

Re: spark plugs

That is a bit more of the story. Is there more that you haven't told us yet?

Re: spark plugs

A guess:
Air leak in the gas line causing the VRO system to go crazy and over-oil.
Just a guess.
