I just tested the Trigger, Stator, Switch box on my XR2 blackmax 150, on the switch box, I disconnected the white/black jumper wire and tested (with key turned on) the resistance from each box terminal to engine ground, One was 4.5 OHMs the other one 4.11 OLMs is that good or is one bad? manual said to make sure reading is the same on both switch boxes. So I guess what I am asking is... "the same" right on, or is a few off like my boat not that bad?
I am still trying to find out why I have no spark on #2 and#3
trigger was in the OHMs reading as manual said it should.
The way I tested for spark was with engine running on muffs, I pulled a spark plug wire off at a time, and almost touched plug with it, 4,5,6,1, jumped nice and strong 2,3 had nothing. maybe that's not the best way(or not a way to check at all) but that's how I did it. Also when 2,3 got pulled there was no diff. to idle at all.
Boat just dies when engaged in gear,
-rebuilt carbs
-new prop
-rebuilt fuel pump
-new jets
still just bogs down over idle speed
Thanks
