Special tools and what is this hose for??

Ok.. first I want to say, I appreciate the help so far, I know I have been asking a few questions about this, second, My boat is very dirty and needs a cleaning, but with a pregnant wife and a two year old.... Its hard to get time so ignore the white junk on my outdrive... last, the pictures are horrible, sorry, best I had at the time. So, first question. I am going to attempt to replace the bellows on my Alpha one Gen 2 outdrive. Seems like I need alot of special tools. I have the hinge pin tool, but do I need the expander and all the seal installer and sleeve pullers and things I have seen?? Second question, I cannot seem to find out what a hose is... I think its a water line but I cannot tell. It is next to my shift cable and is cracking.. It goes from my outdrive to the gimble plate like all the bellow boots. its on the right side... Looking at the kits to do the bellow work, none come with this hose... any help?? thanks!

The small hose running beside the shift cable is hooked to the gear lube reservoir inside the boat.

You will need the bellows expander tool if you use an exhaust bellows.

Thanks... So all I should need is the expander and no other tools?? So I guess I have to get that hose separately from the bellow kit... Can I use a hose from an autoparts store that is rated for gear oil (its not under any pressure correct?)?

Be careful when working with this hose it connects to a cheap plastic (easily breakable) fitting requiring engine removal to replace.

Thanks for letting me know!!... It makes perfect sense to have a brittle part that requires engine removal to replace (sarcasm!)!!!
