specs for 3.5A tohatsu two stroke

can anyone give me the expected pressures of preeure test. I am reading 35 dry. 50 oiled. The jug looks good, the motor has about 20 hours, it fiailed suddenly. Dirt in the reed valve? If so how t clean without removal?

Those numbers sound pretty low. Possibly run without oil in the fuel, causing ring/cylinder wear. The reeds are simple to remove on the 3.5 2-stroke, but you do have to open the crankcase to do the job. I would be surprised if you have an old A model with only 20 hours on it, btw. They haven't been available in the US for years. Even the newest B models are at least 4-5 years old.
