Speed???

I have a small home made boat... She is 6.7 meter tall, 2.4 m wide and 15 degree angle in the bottom weight is 1500 kg and she is powered with a Volvo aq 271c (gm350/275hp). im going to use a volvo sterndrive (290 dp powertrim)with steelprops . Any ideas what the speed of a boat like this would be? its a walkaround modell.<br />Sorry my bad english

dont anyone have a boat like this? im only woundering if she will go 30-40 knots or more?<br />She is 22 feet tall 7.9 feet wide 1500 kg

I can run about 60mph with the right prop. Its 19' long and 8' wide. It has a Chrysler 360 with a Volvo 270 outdrive. The boat weights about the same. To compare it to yours check out my website link below.

but u are running with a single prop? not duoprop? steel or aluminium...

A single bronze ocean racing prop (it is solid like a inboard prop, no hub).
