Does anyone know if there is a way to speed up the cycle time on a 1994 Evinrude Intruder? Alls seals are fine, just need to know if I can make it faster.

I doubt there's any good, safe way to speed it up without actually speeding up the pump motor RPM's. Good Luck!

Ayuh,... Hit it with 24 Volts...
It'll be quicker for alittle while, til it quits altogether...

I bet a faster motor is all there is to it... of course you need to find a way to FIND a replacement motor that is faster!!

I have a hydraulic jack plate, right when i bought it the company was coming out with a HIGH SPEED version...but the dealer wouldnt sell me the HS unit until he sold all hid reg units first...sooo I bought a reg unit.
well my motor went bad.... and they gave me a whole ne wactuator WITH a motor already installed... kinda self contained... but when i started to play with the bad unit, i found it was just the motor cap was melted...

ic alled and the factory would sell me a new MOTOR for my actuator...I said, whats the difference between the HS and the reg units??
they said just the motor!!

I asked can you sell me a motor for the HIGH SPEED unit ?

they said yes....so the only difference between this companies HS hyd jack plate and the REG hyd jack plate is the motor!! and it is the same length and same dia!!!

soooo makes me think somehwere someone could find a motor with the footprint needed that is faster for that TNT unit..

whats makes some motors faster than other motors?? number of windings???

oh that would be so scary, you want it slow so you can make small adjustments at a time.
unless you have a huge boat with little tabs i think you should leave well enough alone

just my thoughts

Is your starting battery nice and strong? If it's tired it can affect motor speed. If you are not sure you can pull it out of the boat and get a load test done at a parts place or battery seller. Then if it's not too good you might want to check the charge system too.
