On my 1996 bayliner capri 1750 the speedometer get.s to 10 and stays there. If i blow air thru the hose from the out drive i can get the needle to jump to max . Would like to know if i need a new speedometer. Thanks grandpa s
It's fairly common for the hole frgti4te5n3 the outdrive to become partially or full y plugged with debris. After removing the speedometer tube, see if you can blow it out or clean it with a small drill bit.
