Speedometer Question

Can I swap any speedometer head with my pitot driven unit? My speedo doesn't start to register until 20 mph and I would like one that starts at zero or at most 10 mph. I think my factory one is a teleflex and I would try to replace it with the same brand.

Yes they are pretty much universal.

Leave it in place and add a GPS. Won't cost much more than a new speedometer and in addition to very accurate speed, gives you all the other advantages of GPS.

Now that is a good idea and he will get accurate readings to boot.
