This weekend, hand dismounted 7 tires, mounted 4 and my daughters future sweet 16 birthday present is just about complete. Just need to get them balanced once I can drive it over to the tire place.

97 Wrangler
Rebuilt the transmission
Rebuilt the transfer case
Rebuilt the steering box
All the normal maint stuff
Put a decent top on it
31" tires

Now if we could just melt some snow so I could get it out of the shop and test it.

I used to mount tires that way:D, then I got a job in a garage and got my hands on a tire machine. a coworker said he hated doing tires, I told him, what do you mean? this is NICE, SWEET!

Yup, tire machine would be easier - but around here it is $10 off/$10 on for carry in work. Saved myself $110

the machine where I work practically does it for you:high5: well you do have to set the tire on it and apply lube, oh, and the flipping of the iron/spoon:tongue:
