Spider cracks, cover or repair

Im working on a 30yr old wellcraft nova. 98% of the floor is solid! The section of the floor just behind the fuel tank is soft and I'm going to remove it. My question: The floor has alot of spider cracks. see pictures.. How can I fix or cover the cracks? Also the gelcoat on the stern is pitted what are my options

Small soft spots frequently lead to lots of rot and bigger than expected repairs.

Cracks like those are from poorly applied gel coat and flexing.

The pits are blisters.

It can all be repaired, but will take time and money.

Sorry for the short and glib answers, I just don't have much time at the moment.

Back again.

The cracks in the non skid look like they are from thick gel coat and a flexing floor, possibly the wood, or whatever core they used in it, is failing, it may have just been weak from the start though. To make it right you first need to find out why it's flexing and take care that, then grind off most of the gel coat and repair the other cracks from the topside. If you don't do this the cracks typically return rather quickly.

Its the same for the most of the other cracks and blisters, the gel coat needs to be sanded off in many areas to make the repairs.

The blisters are a little easier because these look like they are just in the gel coat and not in the laminate.

Start digging around under the cracked areas and see if you can tell why its flexing so much.

The Nova is Toast m8 .. Carpet that leaves that kind of profile is normally a sign of improper care.

Your Blisters are only one small problem of the overall.

Toast....LOL I like toast.. the floor is Solid. Theres a soft section in front of the engine cover ...It wont be there much longer
