spider cracks

i have a 2000 25' proline that has 2 spots that look like spider cracks but they appear to be under the gelcoat. you can see them but not feel them. is this the gelcoat cracking under the wax or something. any suggestions on fixes<br />thank you

Ahoy t16j10: Spider cracks in the gelcoat are usualy caused by a part of the hull that is flexing too much, or by an impact with something....<br /><br />As for a fix, I would first contact the manufacturer to see what they say... They may repair it if it's under warranty...

Well if it looks like it is under the gel it is a bad repair at the manufacturer take it back to the dealer sounds like they painted over a crack. they need to grind it out patch it in and repaint the spot or it will show up again when it sits in the sun for a day or so.make sure they let the patch cure over night or it will sink some and you will have another ugly spot.
