Ted, it's a boat..... Fuel economy is never a consideration
I often use the term ‘fuel usage’ rather than economyTed, it's a boat..... Fuel economy is never a consideration
If you go 100 miles/day every single day, you'll have paid for the conversion in only 10 years! (Winter too, no cheating)Performance update. . .
I have about 13 hours on the engines. I found a sweet-spot for fuel️ usage. 3600 RPM & 30-31 mph gets 1.4 mpg. So, that is a win
The best I could do with the Mercruisers was 1.3 mpg.
Fuel Burn is 0.5# of fuel per HP per hour.I often use the term ‘fuel usage’ rather than economy![]()
Then just drink it while you sit in the driveway with the sprinklers on and pretend...Im thinking of growing corn to distill into my next batch of boat fuel.
Actually cut way back on the consumption. Then just drink it while you sit in the driveway with the sprinklers on and pretend...
