Spline??

does anyone know how much spline does a i/o 3.0l omc with a cobra outdrive. im guessing a 13 spline. Right now i have a 3 plade 13.2x19" pitch prop on. What do you recommed to get onto to plane quicker. a 3 plade 17" pitch or a 4 blade 19" or 21" pitch? or any other suggestions?? when i go skiing i usually carry 4 to 6 people onboard. and sometimes it takes a long time to get onto the plane.

i believe we have close to the same boat. i have an 19 ft '89 with the OMC 3.0 I4 I/O with the OMC/Cobra outdrive. Mine for sure has the 13 tooth spline. You can easily remove the prop and just count the number of teeth on the spline. I am in the market for a new prop and am having trouble selecting one. If you could post the specifics on your boat and provide your numbers both max rpm and mph for each prop you have run i would be very greatful. Any other reviews or info on the topic would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
