Hi Guys, I realy hope one of you can help me with some knowledge or drawings.
I'm working on a 1993 90HP 90ELPTO outboard engine trim. It could not lift the engine up, after inspection i found out that the holding pins was seized to the point where it had to be bored out! And the oil had water in it :/
So after fitting new o-rings in the piston, I opened the pump and cleaned it out, and put everything together again.
Filled it with oil, a little at the time. It now lift the engine perfect, BUT... It cant hold the pressure so the engine falls right down. Also when I try to run the pump i reverse to lower the piston, it dont go down at all it just stays up..
I must have assembled something the wrong way, but I cant find any split views of the pump anywhere..
It's number 8 in this link: http://www.crowleymarine.com/mercury-outboard/parts/553_250.cfm?mdl=7MNNM3
Do any of you have any experience with this?
I really hope so
Thanks in advance
