I have a running sport jet 90 in my boat. I recently bought another running donor engine and used the carbs from it which had recently been installed rather than cleaning the very dirty ones on my original motor.
The engine starts and idles but leaks fuel from all three carbs at the throat. Upon seeing this i pulled them and went through them again. Pulled the jets cleaned the vent tubes, check the float and needles and reinstalled.
Having same issue. I have read here that the vent Ts and tubes that connect the carbs may be blocked ( I'll admit that i didnt check them as the carbs and hoses appear new ).
I will try this and post the results.
One other question is which carb's bowl should connect to the choke circuit ? On the original engine the middle carb did. On the donor the bottom does.
